Hey honeybees 🐝
Quick one this week to give you some updates on things we have coming up in July. We are taking August off to rest and recuperate, so this is your last chance for a hot, sweaty summer boogie with us.
LAST CHANCE FOR MERCH
Our HONEYPOT merch has been flying out the door and this is your last week to cop. We’re closing up shop on Friday 19, so if you want to get your hands on a cap, t-shirt, or lighter, this is your chance! We won’t be running these designs again, so don’t miss out. You can order your merch for collection in Dublin or delivery at our online shop.
HONEYPOT X MUINTEARAS: TRANS PRIDE CELEBRATION
We’ve been cooking up a very special party with our pals at Muintearas to celebrate Trans Pride month. This one’s taking place in Wigwam basement on Friday July 26, with an all-stars lineup of some of the best trans and non-binary DJs around right now.
All the proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Trans Harm Reduction’s excellent work, so you’ll be partying with purpose! Tix are available on RA and are also moving fast — you heard it here first.
STICKY MIX 023: BEANSIDHE
Our latest Sticky Mix comes from Beansidhe, a powerhouse DJ from the West of Ireland who brings an ethereal blend of melodic house and techno to the dance floor. Her magnetic sets transport audiences on a journey. For this mix, her unique sound weaves deep, driving basslines with intricate rhythms and hypnotic melodies, creating an unforgettable sonic journey.
JULY FAVOURITES
Things to do, see, listen to this month!
HONEYPOT @ Guinness Storehouse: Our residents Rhyzine and Lúnasa were invited to go on support duties for the legendary Armand Van Helden this Thursday in the Gravity Bar. Gay girls love Guinness, so obviously this is a dream collab.
Lesbian Art Circle: London: London heads, this one’s for you! Our favs at Lesbian Art Circle are launching their Vol. II publication in Bethnal Green next week, so get down and support if you’re around.
Stretch presents: Alba All Night Long: The second edition of Stretch, Lúnasa’s visionary new party series is here, with an all night long party in a secret location. Very excited for this one.
Small Trans Film Club @ IFI: A special preview screening of CROSSING hosted by The Small Trans Library in the IFI. Looks like a gorgeous watch.
Evenings and Weekends by Oisín McKenna: If you’re looking for a hot summer read, look no further. Great new novel featuring a host of characters being sad, confused and queer during a London heatwave. What more could you want?
Thanks for reading, share this newsletter with a pal if you think they might enjoy! Get tix to our parties! Love you!
